VetCare Index is an informational service. It does not diagnose animals, prescribe treatment, replace a veterinarian, or guarantee a clinic’s price, availability, quality, or outcome.

Confirm before making decisions

Prices and clinic information can change. Contact the clinic for a current written estimate and ask what is included. Urgent symptoms require prompt professional veterinary attention. Clinic availability is a temporary clinic-reported update; call before traveling.

What price verification means

A verified price was checked against submitted evidence and reviewed for eligibility. It is an observation from a particular bill or quote, not a guarantee of today’s price, an endorsement of a clinic, or a finding about medical quality. A quote is an estimate, not a paid charge. Observation dates, counts, and comparison limits matter. Read how our comparisons work.

Your contributions and ownership

You retain any copyright you own in your contribution. Submit only material you own, have permission to share, or may lawfully use. Permission from the pet’s owner does not necessarily include permission from the photographer. Do not submit confidential material you are not authorized to share.

When you submit a bill, quote, or manual price entry with permission, you allow VetCare Index to store and process it privately, review it, and publish approved factual service and price observations. Original bills and quotes are not published. Automatic document reading may use Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence as explained in our privacy policy.

When you separately agree to public stories, care feedback, staff recognition, or Founding Guardian recognition, you grant VetCare Index a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to display that approved contribution on this website. This includes resizing photos and editing for privacy, clarity, and safety without changing the substance of your experience. You do not transfer ownership. This permission does not authorize using your photo or story in outside advertising or social-media promotion; we would request separate permission for that use.

Recognition is optional. You may request removal or anonymity through feedback or email Jake@vetcareindex.com. Read the privacy policy for what removal means for private evidence and derived price observations.

Fairness and corrections

Stories describe individual experiences, not verified medical conclusions. Listings do not imply clinic endorsement or affiliation. We do not accept harassment, knowingly false claims, private personal information, copyright infringement, or attempts to manipulate comparisons. We may decline, edit, or unpublish contributions. Clinics and visitors can report incorrect information.

Copyright concerns

Use our copyright reporting instructions if you believe material on this site infringes your rights. We review reports and may disable access while investigating. Repeated infringement may result in declined contributions or revoked posting access where applicable.

Google Maps and outside services

Google Maps content is identified separately from VetCare Index observations. Use of Google Maps features is also subject to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and Google Terms of Service, incorporated here by reference for those features. Outside providers control their own services and content.
